Oppenheimer, Einstein, Rotblat
Josef Rotblat is the only scientist to quit the Manhattan Project; Oppenheimer is famous for his statement: “Now I am become death” at the detonation of Trinity (the first nuclear bomb) and Einstein wrote the letter urging the bomb be developed; however he later regretted this and with Bertrand Russell issued the Russell-Einstein Manifesto calling for nuclear disarmament.
