Somerville Open Studios is a city-wide organization of artists in Somerville, Massachusetts. Twenty years ago artists voted to organize a city-wide open studios. Every year, the first weekend of May, artists across the city open their studio space to the art-loving public. Thousands of people visit, some year after year. I served on the SOS Board for 5 years, three as clerk. This photo is from 2011, taken by fellow board member and webmaster, photographer Aram Comjean.
SOS 2018 will be held May 5 and 6.
